Chapman Community Health Program Health Screening
The Chapman Community Health Program is a student run community health program whose purpose is to provide help to an underserved population in Tallahassee and to serve as a platform from which students of FSU College of Medicine can serve the less fortunate within a community under guidance of humanistic physician role models. This project is platform for students to form a partnership with a local community and gain unique education experiences while providing meaningful care to an underserved population.
FSUCares has formed a partnership with community members of Maryland Oaks Crossing and hosts monthly health screening events for the community. Students and community members will also be working on maintenance of the new community garden at this event.
