Scholarly Activity

Each resident is required to participate in a research/scholarly activity project, and our program will provide you with the tools you need to be successful. 

• Research Oversight:Led by Director of Research (Dr. Erica Warkus).
• Resident Requirement:At least one publishable project before graduation.
• Ongoing Faculty Scholarship:Publications in Cureus, EM research abstracts, QI leadership.
• Active Areas:Simulation-based education, ultrasound, pediatric EM, EMS operations, patient safety/QI.
• National Engagement:Faculty serve on ACEP, ABEM boards, and national EM committees.
