Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH)is a 772-bed acute care hospital designed to meet the diverse health care needs of the Big Bend region and is part of a private, not-for-profit health care system serving 17 counties in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is home to the areas only state-designated Trauma Center and the Big Bend’s only accredited community hospital cancer program. TMH is the seventh largest hospital in Florida and has a time-honored commitment to providing patient-centered, world-class health care to our community and has a vision of leading the communities it serves to become the healthiest in the nation.
In 2019, TMH unveiled its newest addition: the M.T. Mustain Center opened containing 28 operating rooms, 4 interventional suites for neurosurgical and vascular procedures and 72 adult medical / surgical intensive care beds. The Center is designed to accommodate future additions of operating rooms and intensive care beds when the need arises. The facility also houses all the necessary support services for the operating rooms and the intensive care units, such as pre-admission testing and perioperative services.
