Externship Application

Curriculum & Experience

St. Vincent's offers a Family Medicine Clerkship or Externship where medical students work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinical exposure includes the care of newborns, pediatrics, obstetrics, and adult medicine. 

Requirements

Must currently be a third or fourth-year medical student in good  standing. The student's school/hospital must provide a letter verifying medical malpractice coverage along with a copy of the insurance.  

Application

Students must complete the program’s online application form directly.  Applications via VSAS are not accepted.
