Alumni & Friends
The College of Medicine has a young and rapidly developing alumni relations program with 1,953 M.D. alumni, 814 physicians who completed the PIMS program, 255 graduates of the School of Physician Assistant Practice and many additional alumni of the Ph.D. program and our sponsored residency programs and fellowships. The PA program, begun in 2017, is now bringing in 60 students per year. More than 60 percent of our M.D. alumni have entered practice after completing residency and, in some cases, fellowship training at top programs in Florida and across the country. Alumni, including College of Medicine, PIMS and PA, play an active role at the medical school, helping to teach current medical students, serving on community boards at regional campuses and serving as hosts to current students traveling for clinical rotations and residency interviews.
