Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)

Year 3 Graduation Objective Structured Clinical Examination

Assessment drives learning and graduation requirements drive student priorities.  Annually at mid-year, all M3 students take a three station formative Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).  Annually at year end, all M3 students take an 8 to 12 station graduation OSCE.  Students must pass the graduation OSCE to proceed to M4 year.  M3 graduation OSCE checklists are "geriatricized" with an assessment of all of the geriatric care principles and two geriatric syndromes.
