Welcome Dr. Brittany Tenorio!
The Department of Family Medicine & Rural Health is delighted to welcome Dr. Brittany Tenorio as the newest member of our faculty.
Dr. Tenorio began her career in nursing in 2011 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2013. Inspired by a commitment to advanced practice and patient-centered care, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus in Family Practice at Florida State University in 2017.
Since becoming an advanced registered nurse practitioner, Dr. Tenorio has gained extensive clinical experience across several specialty areas, including electrophysiology cardiology, interventional cardiology, and family medicine. She currently serves patients through FSU PrimaryHealth and has contributed to nursing education through undergraduate teaching and by precepting nurses and nurse practitioner colleagues. She has also supported the education of medical students in the clinical learning center and at PrimaryHealth.
Originally from Holiday, Florida, Dr. Tenorio has called Tallahassee home since 2007. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, crafting, hosting, and exploring new restaurants.
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Tenorio to our department. Her passion for patient care, education, and the mission of our department makes her an outstanding addition to our team.
