What do you like about HMSS?
For me, being surrounded by people with the same goals and ambitions as you is such a key component in becoming successful. I found that here at HMSS, that I am a part of something bigger than myself. The members and advisors of HMSS are the most compassionate and intelligent people I have ever met. Also, the volunteering opportunities and the resources available with this program will only help me on my journey to becoming a physician.
Why do you want to go into medicine?
I want to go into medicine because I simply want to help people. Being able to make someone feel better is why I think a career in medicine is so rewarding. I’ve always wanted to be in a profession where I can make a positive impact and I can’t think of a better impact than saving someone’s life. I’ve always been fascinated about how doctors could help someone through science and medicine. I also love how the medical field is always evolving and progressing. My dream is to become the physician people trust and rely on in any kind of situation.
