Requirements for admission to the B.S. phase:
This highly competitive program is open to a limited number of graduating high school students. Admission to the program is restricted to First Year applicants to FSU.
The program seeks candidates who fit the Honors Medical Scholars Program mission and the mission of the FSU College of Medicine . Competitive candidates will have a record of high academic ability, a heart for service, and a sincere concern for vulnerable populations through volunteering. Exposure and experience in healthcare and health-related settings is recommended.
Step 1: Complete the Florida State University Application by December 1, 2024 Select the interest in “Pre-Med” to gain access to the Honors Medical Scholars Program Application. |

Step 2: Complete the Honors Program Supplemental Application by December 1, 2024. The University Honors Program Supplemental Application will be added to your Application Checklist after submitting your application to FSU. University Honors admissions details are on their website . |
Step 3: Complete the Honors Medical Scholars Supplemental Application by January 15, 2025 |
Step 4: Complete the Honors Medical Scholars Program Interview. Candidates under final consideration will be invited to an Interview Day in late March that includes a program overview, meetings with current Honors Medical Scholars, and two interviews with FSU College of Medicine faculty and administrators. |

- Honors Medical Scholars Finalists will recieve invitaion to interview in early March
