Center Supports Hurricane Response

The Center’s relationship with Florida’s Department of Health provides medical director support to six local county public health departments year-round.When hurricanes strike, the medical director provides 24/7 clinical support to the special-needs shelter for residents on home oxygen or with other special medical needs .
