Laurel Berry, M.D. , is completing a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, North Carolina.   Posted 2.02.21.

Casey Cable, M.D., completed her fellowship at Emory University and has started as an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in the Division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care.  Posted 4.6.20.

Brian Cogburn, M.D. , received the Paragon Award in April for his COVID leadership, which includes setting up large-scale testing sites in the San Francisco Bay area.   Posted 2.02.21.

Lindsay Martin Kissane, M.D., has completed her fellowship, presenting her thesis at the International Continence Society in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is now practicing female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at AdventHealth Orlando. Lindsay and husband Ryan welcomed their first son, Samuel Jones Kissane, in October 2018.  Posted 4.6.20.

Amber McClain, M.D. , welcomed a baby girl, Eloise Madeline Merrell, on January 14 and is now practicing at UF-Pensacola as a pediatric gastroenterologist.   Posted 2.02.21.

Jennifer Packing-Ebuen, M.D. , is practicing as a family physician at James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital Primary Care Annex in Tampa.  Posted 2.02.21.

Jordan Rogers, M.D. ,  married in 2019. She will receive the 'Notable Nole' award from the Florida State College of Arts and Sciences in November 2021. Rogers became board certified in 2020. She currently practices emergency medicine outside of Washington, D.C. for Doctors Community Health System.   Posted 8.31.21.

Helen Vo, M.D.,  has two beautiful daughters and is an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida's College of Medicine. She is the anesthesiology clerkship director at the Orlando VA Medical Center as well as a practicing anesthesiologist at the facility.   Posted 2.02.21.

David Alvarez, M.D., completed a hand fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He has returned to practice with Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic as a hand and upper-extremity surgeon.  Posted 8.7.19.

Sarah (Mike) Alvarez, M.D., has returned to practice in Florida with North Florida Pediatrics in Tallahassee.  Posted 8.7.19.

Stefani Ashby, M.D., completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at UF Health Jacksonville. She is now a pediatric emergency medicine specialist at Baptist Health in Jacksonville.  Posted 8.7.19.

Daniel Christian, M.D., is now practicing at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, as a general, minimally invasive and bariatric surgeon.  Posted 8.7.19.

Benjamin Greif, M.D., completed his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma. He is now a general surgeon at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.  Posted 8.7.19.

Paul McLendon, M.D., completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. He is now practicing as an orthopedic surgeon at Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg in Virginia.  Posted 8.7.19.

Shelley Murphy, M.D., is an attending physician and assistant clinical professor of pediatric emergency medicine at the UT Erlanger, T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Posted 8.7.19.

Laurel Berry, M.D., is an adjunct professor of gynecology at Medical University of South Carolina, Gynecologic Oncology Division, in Charleston. She was honored by the AAGL for excellence in laparoscopic surgery in 2015, the same year her daughter was born.  Posted 10.1.17

Brian Cogburn, M.D., MPH, is an adjunct clinical postdoctoral and global health fellow at the Department of Medicine Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Florida. He was awarded a grant from the Gatorade fund to improve community-based diabetes management in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Francoise A. Marvel, M.D., was chief resident at the Johns Hopkins internal medicine residency program, which she graduated from this year. During her residency, she led a collaboration to develop Corrie ( www.corriehealth.com ), an Apple-designed digital health performance improvement tool and tracking platform provided to patients in the hospital for use across the care continuum. Corrie Health has been nationally recognized as an innovative digital health platform by UberPITCH, Fueling the Growth (November 2016), the American College of Physicians (May 2016, 2017), Stanford Medicine X Global Challenge (February 2017) and Johns Hopkins Cardiology for excellence in clinical research and translational science. The platform is composed of a smartphone app, integrated smartwatch technology, and wireless blood pressure measurement designed to empower patients, increase medication adherence, and build patient skills while they’re in the hospital and after they return home.  Posted 10.1.17
