diverse
computing system administration and data analysis.
Cynthia Vied, PhD
Cynthia (Cindy) Vied is involved in implementation of Next-Generation sequencing and Mass Spectrometry services. She is responsible for the pipeline upstream and downstream of NovaSeq workflows. She has extensive experience in Next-Generation Sequencing sample prep and data analysis and provides consultation regarding project scope, design and implementation, as well as data analysis. Cindy obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was a postdoctoral researcher and research associate at Columbia University prior to joining the FSU College of Medicine in 2010.
Huan He, PhD
Huan He, affiliated with the FSU Institute of Molecular Biophysics, operates the Waters XEVO TQS MS for small molecule quantification. She also develops methods for metabolite identification/quantification and protein complex characterization using native MS and hydrogen/deuterium exchange (HDX). She got her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and pursued her postdoctoral training with Dr. Alan Marshall at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. She has over 10 years of experience with MS in biological applications. Before getting her Ph.D., she was a medicinal chemist at Bristol-Myers Squibb.
