What do you like about HMSS?

I enjoy the sense of community and feeling of belonging. It creates a supportive environment to be in a group of people all going through the same sorts of challenges in the pre-medical curriculum. It is helpful to be able to talk to some of the older HMS members about what has worked for them in their undergraduate experience.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

Medicine represents the chance to have a productive, meaningful career. It provides real world help to people. It combines a sense of community involvement, academic rigor, and worthwhile work. Medicine is also extremely flexible in terms of specific fields of study and geographic location.
