What do you like about HMSS?
For me, the Honors Medical Scholars Society has provided a strong framework for success during my time as an undergraduate. The leadership, volunteering, and medical opportunities I have had through this organization have been numerous and extremely beneficial. Additionally, the friendships I have made with both my peers within the HMSS and the faculty at the college of medicine, have been deeply cherished.
Why do you want to go into medicine?
My entire life I have felt called to be a physician. One of the things I enjoy most is interacting with people and I felt like this was a field where I could not only benefit those who I serve by diagnosing and treating them, but by also sitting, listening, and giving of my time.
