Favorite Part of HMSS?

Through HMSS I am able to be surrounded by individuals that share my passion and thus, both inspire and challenge me throughout my undergraduate endeavors. I am grateful that this program both prepares me for medical school as well as introduces me to countless meaningful service opportunities.

Why Medicine?

Growing up in a developing country allowed me to realize the true value of available healthcare. Though I was fortunate enough to receive the medical attention I needed, millions of individual are not. It is my passion and life dream to be able to serve underprivileged areas and hopefully work with the Doctors Without Borders Organization  one day. Ultimately, I would like to combine my love for biology and helpings others to truly make a difference in both local and international struggling communities.
