What do you like about HMSS?
I love how HMSS gets like-minded individuals together and sets up a mentor relationship. The advisors involved come along side of me and help to keep me on track. It also provides opportunities to volunteer and reach out to the community in the midst of difficult semester schedules in my free time.
Why do you want to go into medicine?
I personally want to go into medicine because I feel like that is where I am being called into service. I thoroughly enjoy people and I want to use my gifts and talents to help those that are less fortunate than me. After many of the experiences I have had in life I know that there is no better thing in this world than to know that your presence no matter how big or small had an impact on someone else's life.
Clinton entered the Honors Medical Scholars Program in 2008 and is now a member of the FSU College of Medicine Class of 2016. He is at the Main Campus in Tallahassee for the 1st and 2nd years of med school.
